I wish I had taught your children. Those actually look like cute gifts. Actually, I can't complain. We got lots of good gifts from our students...my favorite being a $150 gift certificate to an Aveda Spa/Salon and that weekend get away my second grade students gave me for teacher appreciation. How brilliant is this...one of my moms had her children write notes to bed and breakfasts to ask if the B&B would donate something to a Teacher Appreciation Gift Basket, and they donated 2 nights. What a great way to put together a gift basket from the whole class without much money! One year we accumulated more than $100 in Starbucks $5 and $10 gift cards. We left the on the mantle and would grab one whenever we felt the need for a pick-me-up!
